Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 23, 2026

Your Company LLC ("we") runs VouchTap, a service local businesses use to ask their customers for reviews, collect private feedback and reply to reviews. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Two kinds of data

  • Business accounts. For the people who sign up and log in, we decide how their data is used.
  • A business's customers. Names, phone numbers, emails and visit details that a business enters or imports are processed only on that business's instructions, as its service provider. That business is responsible for having the customer's permission to contact them.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, password (stored hashed), role and business details.
  • Customer contact details provided by businesses, the messages prepared for them, and the date and service of their visit.
  • Review page activity: page views and button taps, with the IP address stored only as a one-way hash.
  • Private feedback a customer chooses to send, and any contact details they add to it.
  • Payment details are handled by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Demo and waitlist requests: the name, email, phone, business details and message you send us through our website, used only to reply to you.

How we use it

  • To run the service: prepare review requests, send emails, show review pages and deliver private feedback.
  • To draft review replies, sort feedback and read imported lists with AI. This text is processed by Anthropic (Claude) as our sub-processor, under Anthropic's commercial terms.
  • For billing, support, security and to meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use a business's customer data for our own marketing.

Text messages

Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Customers get at most one review request and one reminder per visit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, or ask the business directly.

Email

Every review email has an unsubscribe link. Opt-outs take effect immediately.

Security and retention

Phone numbers and emails are encrypted at rest, and all traffic uses HTTPS. A business's customer records are deleted 24 months after their last visit, or sooner when the business deletes them. Detailed AI prompts and answers are deleted after 30 days.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your state (for example California, Virginia, Colorado or Texas), you may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information. Customers of a business can ask that business, or email us and we will help. We won't treat you differently for making a request.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
